Some mornings, it all seems to come together. The perfect clouds, a wonderful sunrise and warm tropical water. Add a little sand and you have the perfect scene. The only thing that would make it better would be a couple of newly weds having fun in the early morning hours. Dana and Rob allowed me to bring this vision into a reality.

I delivered the final proofs from their “Trash the Dress” beach session this weekend and wanted to share a few more. Their child-like play comes through in frame after frame. Their lasting love is the under current of true joy.

Months or even years of planning, the anticipation, budgets, selecting vendors, who sits next to whom, chicken or fish, DJ or live band…these are all details, some stressful but most fun, that lead up to a wedding day. The day arrives, the decorations are set and the guests fill a waiting room. A walk,much shorter than the distance from home plate to 1st base, will change the lives of a couple forever. Smiles, some wonderful words the officiate shares, though mostly a blur to the bride and groom, and then two simple “I Do”s unite them as husband and wife. All the preparation, the nerves, and the anticipation has passed. One can ask, what is there left to do?

…why dance of course! DANCE! And that is exactly what our fair Dana and stud Rob did to end their beautiful wedding night!

The crowd smiled and clapped as the new couple took their first steps on the dance floor. They moved with grace and poise as they whirled and turned in front of their joyful family and friends. Rob’s confidence was evident as he dipped and held his new bride.
